Maurikian Byzantine A group of Byzantine cavalry try to stem the crumbling of the Eastern Roman Empire. (Sorry for the poor photographic crop on the right) The figures are all 15mm Essex from an unpainted army pack bought, if I remember correctly, at a Convention's flea market. It was labeled "Maurikian" but after a bit of research I started to think that it was actually a Thematic DBA army pack. Naturally I was midway through the painting process by this time.
