Favourite Rules = Piquet!
Rating of my Website = Excellent
Comments = BJ mentioned your site on the PKMailer, so I dropped by for a visit. Enjoyed your battle reports greatly, and I liked your surprise idea. I'm considering a Garigliano scenario (circa 1500, the Spanish surprise the french by launching an unexpected attack accross a river in winter), so the ideas were very helpfull? Do you subscribe to the PKMailer? If not, you should! Nice graphic design for the site as well.

Name = Michael Loubert
Country of Origin = Canada
Historical Periods of Interest = many
Favourite Rules = DBR
Rating of my Website = Excellent
Comments = nicely done, and with a pleasant, self-deprecating sense of humour. Finding the Maurikians was a bit of a surprise. The descriptions of armies raised was interesting and informative, unlike the feared "Me Magazine" syndrome one so often finds in the websites (not that I'm an expert on websites - far from it).
Does anybody else read these things? I've faced Tony across the table many times, chiefly in DBA but also in DBR and I can tell you he's a terror. Fortunately he's also a gentleman and wins as well as his (infrequent) losses.

Comments = Good lord! only two refights! I'm sure there was a third one. Something about the Austrian right wing sweeping the field or something like that. I wonder where that one went. P.S. In the Bad Sausegehousen one the placement of the field batteries wasn't all that bad. One of Piquet's strategem cards is a ford. So my placement of my artillery wasn't completely stupid. If I hadn't put it there and you had had the ford card I really would have had egg on my face. So There!
