Antigonid Pictures A closeup of 15mm Xth Legion eastern pikemen. You may notice that some of my eastern phalangites' shields are a little more colourful than the plain embossed bronze of the Macedonians. In particular, the painted gods and goddesses on the shields might have been only used on parade, not on a battlefield. However, that is only conjecture, so I painted a few on the grounds that they look good.
