Safe with the baggage, a Roman Catholic monk waves his cross around threateningly.  Everything from the 15mm Irregular catalog.



The Duc d'Guise seeks to crush the foul Huguenot heresy that stains all France.  Outside lancers are 15mm Minifigs, flag is hand painted, the Duc himself is from Essex.  The General's clothing and armour is a trifle old-fashioned, but I think it suits an old reactionary leader quite well.  The rather nice cottage they're riding by is from my wife's "Lilliput Lane" collection.
